I've been working on a new series of paintings. I have no idea where it will lead, but I sure am having fun. This is one from that new group. I call it Entries and Exits. It has something to do with paths from the ancient to now. The checkerboard has been in my work for years. I love the pattern. In doing a little research I discovered it is a symbol for water, life-giving, centered. I like all of those meanings.
