Sometimes you have to stop everything and celebrate.
I've often said to my husband "I have the
best collectors". I'm sure every artist feels the same way, but
I really do so that's who and what the party was all about. ;-)

My collectors make me feel like I'm the best artist on the planet. They are supportive - they send me notes of encouragement. They write thank you notes that are so special that I will save and read the rest of my life. They listen to my stories and understand what and why I paint. Some travel far distances to attend a show with me - even to Italy and New York! (thanks, Suz). Some I learned Friday night call themselves "The Loyalists" because they traveled to Davis for the show at John Natsoulas Gallery. (thanks Helen, Ken, Evelyn, Karen, Johnny)
